LEAVE A LEGACY®Summit/Portage/Medina is a community-wide marketing effort whose goal is to increase the awareness of gift planning opportunities by the general public. This type of broad-based approach is cost-prohibitive for most nonprofit organizations. As a member of the nonprofit community, you are well aware it is very difficult for nonprofit organizations to reach a large percentage of their planned giving prospects with marketing materials. LEAVE A LEGACY® Summit/Portage/Medina is designed to complement current marketing efforts and reinforce the message.
- To support this program we ask each partner to contribute $100.00 on a yearly basis.

- Supply of LEAVE A LEGACY® brochures
- Participation in “Write A Will Month” at your nonprofit with attorneys writing simple wills free of charge
- Listed in ad in special supplement on estate planning published each April/May highlighting LEAVE A LEGACY® partners and announcing the “Write A Will Month”
- Link from LEAVE A LEGACY® website to the partnering organizations
- Listed in all publications that are distributed to participants, advisors and other professionals
- Mention in all major events materials
- Inclusion in final report mailed to all involved parties (committee members, nonprofits, donor, advisors)
- Participation in Voices of Giving Event by nominating an individual or family to be honored and recognized at this special program
